Irritable Bowel Syndrom (IBS)
Irritable bowel syndrome is a very common gastrointestinal disorder,
with symptoms varying from intermittent diarrhoea and constipation to
bloating, flatulence and painful spams and cramps. The symptoms,
as well as the causes and triggers, vary from one person to another.
Although there has been no break throughs in finding a common cause for
IBS symptoms, diet, food intolerances, state of the immune system and
gut bacterial balance all seem to play a part. All these areas
can be assessed and addressed in a nutrition consultation and many
sufferers have been able to greatly reduce or eliminate their symptoms
as a result of a tailor-made nutrition and supplement programme.
